[Instructions en francais se trouvent ci-dessous] Ingredients: 2 lbs chicken, 2 T oil, 1 medium onion or 1 large shallot, 2 t grated fresh ginger, 2 t grated fresh garlic, 1/2 can diced tomatoes, 1 can coconut milk, 1 t salt, 1/2 c water. Fry onions in oil over medium heat until translucent. Add ginger and garlic; fry one minute, then increase heat, add the chicken sprinkled with salt to taste, and fry it until lightly browned. Add tomato and let cook about 2 minutes, then add coconut milk, salt and water. Reduce heat to medium and let simmer about 5 minutes or until chicken is cooked all the way through. Serve hot over rice. Sakay may be served on the side or stirred into the dish to provide spiciness. Ingredients: 1 kilo poulet, 2 c.a.s. huile, 1 oignon moyen ou 1 grosse echalotte, 2 c.a.c. gingembre rape, 2 c.a.c. ail rape, 1/2 boite tomates concasses, 1 boite lait de coco, 1 c.a.c. sel, 1/2 verre d'eau. Faites frire les oignons dans l'huile dans une poele sur feu moyen. Ajoutez le gingembre et l'ail; laissez frire 1 minute puis augmentez le feu et faites frire le poulet sale. Ajoutez le tomate et laissez cuire 2 minutes. Apres, ajoutez le lait de coco, sel et eau. Remuez bien; baissez le feu et laissez mijoter 5 minutes ou jusqu'a ce que le poulet soit bien cuit. Servez avec du riz et du sakay.
