Frogmore Stew

4 quarts water
1/4 cup Old Bay seasoning
1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
4 ears corn, halved
1 pound small red potatoes, halved
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 lemon, cut into wedges
salt to taste

In a large pot, bring 4 quarts of water to a boil over high heat.

Add the Old Bay seasoning to the boiling water and stir to combine.

Add the sliced smoked sausage to the pot and cook for about 5 minutes.

Add the halved corn and potatoes to the pot and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.

Stir in the shrimp and cook for another 3-5 minutes, until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.

Remove the pot from heat and drain the contents into a large colander.

Spread the stew out on a large table covered with newspaper or serve in a large bowl.
