Sift together 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, 1/4 cup cocoa powder, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, and a pinch of baking soda in a bowl.

In a separate bowl, beat 2 eggs and add 1/2 cup powdered sugar (made from regular sugar in a blender) until well combined.

Add 1/3 cup vegetable oil and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence to the egg mixture and mix well.

Prepare a small baking tin by brushing it with oil and optionally lining it with butter paper.

Combine the sifted dry ingredients into the wet mixture and mix until smooth.

Add some tutti frutti (optional) to the batter and mix well.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking tin and tap it to release any air bubbles.
