Greek yogurt is thicker and adds protein.
Add 1 cup of water to the blender or food processor.
Add 1 cup of old-fashioned oats to the blender.
Add 1 ripe banana to the blender.
Blend the mixture until it forms a batter.
Optionally, add 1 tablespoon of cinnamon, 1 tablespoon of flax seeds, and 1 tablespoon of chia seeds to the batter and mix well.
Preheat the waffle maker until the indicator light shows it's ready.
Scoop out 1/4 cup of batter for small waffles or 1/2 cup for larger waffles and pour it into the preheated waffle maker.
Close the waffle maker and cook until the waffles are done, checking for doneness.
If the waffles are uncooked on the edges, flip them over and cook for an additional 30 seconds to 1 minute.
Serve the waffles warm with fresh fruit, syrup, or toppings of your choice.
