Whip egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Add 3 tablespoons of sugar and 3 egg yolks to the whipped egg whites and mix.
Reduce speed and add 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour to the mixture.
Bake the cake at 350°F in a well-oiled and floured pan for about 15 minutes or until firm.
Whip 12 tablespoons of butter until fluffy, then add 1 cup of powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Separate 6 eggs and add egg yolks to the butter mixture.
Squeeze about 1.5 cups of fresh orange juice and set aside.
Soak the baked cake with 0.5 cup of freshly squeezed orange juice.
Add 2 cups of ground walnuts and 1 cup of ground graham crackers to the butter mixture, mixing by hand.
Gradually add 0.5 cup of orange juice to the mixture while mixing by hand.
Add another cup of ground walnuts and 0.5 cup of ground graham crackers, then mix in the remaining orange juice.
Spread the mixture over the soaked cake and shape it.
Chill the cake in the fridge.
Whip the remaining 6 egg whites until stiff, then add 0.5 cup of sugar gradually while mixing.
Melt 1 cup of sugar on the stovetop to make caramel and slowly pour it into the egg white mixture while mixing.
Spread the meringue on top of the chilled cake and decorate with ground walnuts.
