1 teaspoon Kashmiri chili powder

1 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 tablespoons ghee
2 dried chilies
3 cloves fresh garlic
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/4 cup fresh cilantro
1 teaspoon garam masala
4 cups water

Soak moong dal overnight for 12 hours.

Wash and drain the lentils.

Add the lentils to a pan and pour in boiled kettle water.

Turn the heat to full and bring to a boil.
