Chop 1 small onion and reserve it.
In a skillet, add a little oil and fry 1.5 lbs of ground beef until browned.
Add a bay leaf and season with salt, white pepper, garlic powder, oregano, and cumin.
Mix in a little mustard for flavor.
Once the beef is cooked, add the reserved onion and mix well until the onion is translucent.
Reserve the beef mixture once the onion is cooked.
Prepare the salsa by cooking 4 tomatoes, 1 small garlic, a piece of onion, a piece of green bell pepper, and 2 oz of water until boiling.
Blend the cooked ingredients into a thick salsa and return to the skillet, seasoning with chicken seasoning and salt to taste.
Add fresh cilantro to the salsa and reserve it once it has boiled.
Chop 1/4 of a cabbage for a simple coleslaw, rinse it in cold water to keep it crunchy.
Season the cabbage with lime juice, salt, and fresh cilantro, mixing well and reserving it.
Make the masa with 2 cups of corn flour and 1 cup of water, adding water gradually to avoid a watery consistency.
Form small balls of masa and flatten them into garnachas.
In a hot skillet or comal, cook the tortillas, flipping them before a minute to prevent drying out.
Once cooked, create a small indentation in the tortillas and return them to the skillet with a little oil to brown them.
Add the prepared beef mixture to the tortillas, followed by the salsa.
Serve the garnachas topped with the coleslaw and cheese.
