Set the induction cooker.

Add 2 tsp cooking oil to the pot and heat it.

Add 6 cloves minced garlic and 5 pieces bay leaves; sauté briefly.

Add 500 g pork to the pot and sauté until browned.

Add 1 tsp peppercorn and salt to taste (using Himalayan salt).

Pour in 1/4 cup vinegar and do not stir; let it boil for 3 to 5 minutes.

After boiling, stir the mixture and add 1/2 cup soy sauce.

Add 1 cup water and simmer for about 5 minutes until the pork is tender.

Turn off the heat and transfer the pork adobo to a serving bowl.

Optionally, if you want a thicker sauce, you can fry it further.
