1

Ladle about 1/2 cup crushed tomatoes into a microwave-safe bowl.

2

Add 1/8 teaspoon ground coriander, 1/8 teaspoon ground cumin, salt (if needed), and 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes or paprika to the tomatoes.

3

Add 1 minced clove of garlic and a little olive oil, then mix well.

4

Slice silken tofu into 1-inch thick pieces and press them into the sauce.

5

Microwave the bowl using the one-touch start for 1 minute.

6

After 1 minute, take out the bowl and gently stir the sauce, pushing the edges in and the middle out.

7

Continue heating in 30-second intervals if needed, but the creator only needed the one round as the sauce was at room temperature.

8

Top with some chives and spoon up the tofu to reveal the contrast.

9

Add toasted seasoned sunflower seeds or other crunchy seeds or nuts, some more red pepper flakes, and a little olive oil for flavor.
