4 servings
Servings4
4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
1 lb fresh scallops
2 tbsp Killer Hogg's barbecue rub
1 cedar plank (soaked in water for at least 1 hour)
1 lb charcoal

Quantities are estimated based on standard recipes for your convenience. The actual ingredients used in this video are accurate.

1

Prepare the Akorn grill by lighting charcoal and letting it burn until it reaches 300-350ยฐF.

2

Season the fresh salmon fillets and scallops with Killer Hogg's barbecue rub, ensuring a good coating on both.

3

Let the seasoned fish and scallops sit for 15-20 minutes while the grill heats up.

4

Soak two cedar planks in water for about 45 minutes before grilling.

5

Place the salmon fillets and scallops on the soaked cedar planks, ensuring some space between them for heat circulation.

6

Grill the fish and scallops on the planks for about 20-30 minutes, checking after 10-15 minutes.

7

After 15 minutes, check the scallops and fish; the scallops should start to whiten and the fish should be cooking well.

8

After another 10-15 minutes, check the temperature of the fish; it should reach about 140ยฐF to be well done.

9

Remove the fish and scallops from the grill once cooked and serve.
