Video Description
@truethaikitchen My Thai style salmon is sweet and savoury with a hint of spices from the red curry paste. If you do not have an air fryer you can definitely cook it on a stovetop or bake it in the oven. The result will be just as tasty. To make it gluten-free simply substitute tamari or use gluten-free soy sauce. Happy cooking! Preparation time: 5 minutes Cooking time: 10 minutes Total time: 15 minutes Serves 2 Ingredients 2 salmon fillets, 6 ounce each For The Marinade 1/4 teaspoon Thai red curry paste 1/4 teaspoon dry basil 1/4 cup Thai sweet chili sauce 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce (use tamari for gluten-free) Squeeze of fresh lemon juice Instructions 1. Pat down the salmon fillets with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. 2. In a large bowl combine all of the marinating ingredients and mix well. 3. Add the salmon to the bowl of marinade, coat it all over the salmon. 4. Line a piece of aluminum foil on the air fryer basket making a little bowl at the bottom to hold the marinade. Preheat the air fryer at 360°F for 3 minutes. 5. Place the salmon on the preheated air fryer. Pour the marinade on top. 6. Air fry the salmon for 8-10 minutes at 360°F or until the salmon is cooked through. You want the internal temperature to be 140 - 145°F. Serve immediately with a side of rice and vegetables. Enjoy. Tips Depending on what type of air fryer you have and how thick your salmon is you may need to adjust your cooking temperature and time. If you are using the oven method try baking at a preheated oven of 400°F for 10-12 minutes. For the stovetop method simply heat about 1 tablespoon cooking oil over medium-low heat and fry the salmon for 4-5 minutes per side until completely cooked through.
