Jamaican Jerk Ribs

CaribbeanJMmain
120 min
medium
4 servings
Servings4
2 lbs pork ribs
2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp allspice
1 tbsp thyme
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tbsp nutmeg
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 lime, juiced
1

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

2

In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, allspice, thyme, cinnamon, nutmeg, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper, salt, and lime juice to create the marinade.

3

Place the pork ribs in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated.

4

Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight for maximum flavor.

5

Remove the ribs from the marinade and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes before grilling.

6

Place the ribs on the preheated grill and cook for about 15-20 minutes on each side, basting with the leftover marinade occasionally.

7

Check for doneness; the ribs should be tender and have a nice char.

8

Once cooked, remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.

9

Serve the ribs with your choice of sides, such as rice and peas or coleslaw.
