Zucchini is lower in calories and potatoes are more budget-friendly.

Cut the green plantains into thick slices.

Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

Fry the plantain slices for 3 minutes on each side until golden and slightly soft.

Remove the plantains from the oil and drain them on paper towels.

Smash each fried plantain slice using a flat surface until they are flat chips.

Return the smashed plantains to the hot oil and fry again until crispy.

Remove from oil and season with salt and chat masala, then sprinkle with chopped coriander.

Serve hot with ketchup or as desired.
