Crack 2 eggs into a bowl and check for shell pieces.

Add grated cheese to the eggs and mix together with a fork.

Chop fresh chives into small pieces and set aside.

Heat a saucepan over low heat and add a sliver of butter until it bubbles.

Add crab meat and chopped chives to the saucepan and stir for 2-3 minutes until softened.

Pour the egg and cheese mixture into the saucepan with crab and chives.

Stir the mixture continuously over low heat for 3-5 minutes until scrambled.

Remove the pan from heat and add a small amount of double cream and black pepper to the eggs.

Butter a slice of toast and serve the scrambled eggs on top.
