Prepare the dumpling dough by mixing flour, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
Gradually add water to the flour mixture while kneading until a dough forms.
Knead the dough until smooth, then let it rest for a few minutes.
Shape the dough into small balls or discs for the dumplings.
In a separate pot, bring salted water to a boil and drop in the dumplings.
Cook the dumplings until they float and are cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.
Remove the dumplings and set aside; check the crab for seasoning and adjust if necessary.
