Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C).
Rinse and cut the cauliflower into about 1-inch pieces and place in a large bowl.
Add 1 tablespoon of minced garlic and 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the bowl with cauliflower and toss to coat evenly.
In a separate bowl, mix together 1 teaspoon of cumin, 1 teaspoon of turmeric, 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes, and 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt.
Sprinkle the spice mixture over the cauliflower and stir until evenly coated.
Spread the cauliflower on a cookie sheet in a single layer, ensuring they are not on top of each other.
Bake in the oven for 23 to 28 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cauliflower is browned and tender.
Remove from the oven and adjust seasoning with more salt if desired.
