Bring a pot of water to a boil.
Add salt to the boiling water.
Add the cabbage to the boiling water and cook until the leaves are pliable.
In a mixing bowl, combine 600 grams of fatty lamb, 2 chopped onions, 2 chopped tomatoes, 1/2 cup round rice, salt, black pepper, paprika, and 1 tablespoon of tomato paste.
Mix the ingredients thoroughly.
Place a spoonful of the meat mixture onto each cabbage leaf and roll tightly, tucking in the sides to secure the filling.
In a large pot, layer the rolled cabbage dolmas.
Pour 1 cup of hot water over the dolmas.
Drizzle 70 ml of vegetable oil over the top.
Add 1 tablespoon of tomato paste and a pinch of turmeric to the pot.
Bring the pot to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to low heat and cover.
Cook on low heat for an unspecified duration.
