2 liters ginger ale
6 whole cinnamon sticks
1 teaspoon caraway seeds
12 whole cloves
1 tablespoon peppercorns
1 tablespoon all spice berries
3 oranges
2 lemons
½ cup dark plump raisins
2 pounds local honey
optional 1 bottle of four queens blended whiskey

Combine ginger ale, honey, and raisins in a large pot over medium heat.

Add cinnamon sticks, cloves, caraway seeds, peppercorns, and all spice berries to the pot.

Slice the oranges and lemons, and add them to the pot.

Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for 10 minutes.

Remove from heat and let it steep for 10 minutes.

Strain the mixture to remove solid ingredients.

Serve warm in heatproof glasses.
