Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan over low to medium flame.

Add 1 teaspoon of garlic paste and sauté lightly.

Add finely chopped 1 large onion and sauté for 1-1.5 minutes until slightly colored.

Add 1 cup of finely chopped green bell pepper and sauté lightly.

Add 2 large chopped tomatoes and some salt; cover and cook for 2 minutes to soften the tomatoes.

After 2 minutes, mash the tomatoes lightly in the pan.

Add 1 teaspoon of coriander powder, 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric, and 1/2 teaspoon of red chili powder, mixing well.

Add 2 tablespoons of pav bhaji masala and mix thoroughly.

Mash the mixture well until everything is combined and soft.

Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and some chopped coriander leaves.

Optionally, add grated cheese and mix until melted.

In the same pan, add 2 tablespoons of butter and some peas, mixing well.

Cut the pav bread partially and toast it in the pan with butter, adding kasuri methi and some pav bhaji masala inside.

Toast both sides of the pav until golden brown.
