Gather your ingredients: 1/2 cup yogurt, 1/2 kg fish, 1.5 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tbsp crushed cumin, 1/2 tbsp crushed coriander, 3/4 tbsp ajwain, 1 tbsp red chili powder, 1/2 tbsp black pepper, 1 tbsp dried fenugreek leaves, 1/2 tbsp turmeric, and salt to taste.

In a bowl, add 1/2 cup yogurt, 1.5 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 3/4 tbsp ajwain, 1/2 tbsp crushed cumin, 1 tbsp red chili powder, 1/2 tbsp black pepper, and 1 tbsp dried fenugreek leaves. Mix well.

Add salt to taste and 1/2 tbsp turmeric. Mix everything together to create a marinade.

Cut the fish into slices and add it to the marinade. Ensure the fish is well coated. Let it marinate.
