Cut pork shoulder into bite-sized cubes.

In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, onion, brown sugar, black pepper, ketchup, pineapple juice, bay leaves, and red chili flakes.

Add pork cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated.

Cover the bowl and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

Soak skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

Thread marinated pork onto skewers, leaving space between pieces.

Brush skewers lightly with vegetable oil.

Place skewers on the grill and cook for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until pork is cooked through and slightly charred.

Serve with lime wedges on the side.
