Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
4 slices bacon, chopped
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet in a single layer.

Sprinkle the chopped bacon over the Brussels sprouts.

Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are tender and the bacon is crispy, stirring halfway through.
