Heat a cast iron skillet over medium heat.
Add a couple of tablespoons of olive oil to the skillet.
Place the steak in the skillet, ensuring full surface contact.
Cook the steak for about 1 minute, then flip it over.
Cook the steak for another minute, then flip it back to achieve desired doneness.
Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest.
Add butter to the skillet and let it melt.
Add the shrimp to the skillet, ensuring they are flat and have maximum contact with the skillet.
Cook the shrimp for about 1 minute, then flip them over and cook for another 30 seconds.
Remove the shrimp from the skillet.
Add chicken broth to the skillet to deglaze, scraping up any browned bits.
Turn the heat back on and add heavy cream to the skillet, waiting for it to simmer.
Add mustard and Cajun seasoning to the cream mixture.
Stir the mixture and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add cheese to the sauce and stir until melted and creamy.
Add lemon juice to the sauce to thin it out and add freshness.
Add parsley to the sauce and mix well.
Return the shrimp to the skillet, including any juices from the shrimp.
Stir everything together and let it thicken slightly before serving over the steak.
