Chop one onion in half, then slice and roughly chop it.
Heat a pan over medium-high flame and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.
Chop one tomato into strips and dice it.
Add the diced tomato to the browned onions and stir in two seasoning cubes.
Cook the mixture for about a minute until the tomatoes are cooked down.
Add the chopped kanzira to the pan and stir it in with a spatula.
Cook the kanzira for about one minute until it wilts down, checking the seasoning.
Serve the cooked kanzira over soft ugali.
