2 cups dumpling wrappers
1 lb ground pork
8 oz shrimp
2 cups cabbage, chopped
1 cup carrots, grated
1/2 cup green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons oil for frying

Mix ground pork, shrimp, chopped cabbage, grated carrots, sliced green onions, minced ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, and white pepper in a bowl until well combined.

Place a dim sim wrapper on a clean surface and add a spoonful of filling in the center.

Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it over the filling, and press to seal.

Repeat the process with remaining wrappers and filling.

Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat until shimmering.

Carefully add the dim sims to the hot oil in batches, frying until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes.

Remove the dim sims with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
