Take water in a pot and add 3 large cinnamon sticks, boil for about 30 minutes.

Wash 2 cups basmati rice and soak for 20 minutes.

After 30 minutes, strain the water from the rice.

Add the strained rice to the pot with the cinnamon water and cook until tender.

Add 1 teaspoon of salt to the rice while cooking.

Once the rice is cooked, strain it again.

In a separate layer, add 1 teaspoon cardamom powder and 1-1.5 tablespoons of rose water to the rice.

Add 1.5 cups of sugar in layers, mixing well after each addition.

Cover the pot with a lid and cook on low heat for 20-25 minutes, sealing with foil to trap steam.

After 20 minutes, add 100 grams of butter and cover again, cooking for another 15-20 minutes.

Finally, add saffron water mixed with rose water on top and cover for another 10-20 minutes.
