Acarajé de Orixá

1 cup black eyed peas
1 onion
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
2 tablespoons plain flour
2-3 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon ginger
10-12 shrimps
1 cup chopped tomato
1 cup tomato puree
salt
1 tablespoon coriander
2-3 chopped chillies

Chop 1 onion.

Mix onion, 1 cup black eyed peas, salt, 1 teaspoon red chilli powder, 2 tablespoons plain flour, 2-3 garlic cloves, 1 tablespoon baking soda, and grind them.

Slice 1 onion.

Chop 1 tablespoon ginger.

Add 1 tablespoon oil in a pan.

Crush 2-3 garlic.

Add ginger and garlic to the pan.

Add sliced onions.

Add 10-12 shrimps.

Add 1 cup chopped tomato.

Add 1 cup tomato puree.

Add salt.

Add 1 tablespoon coriander.

Take the mix, make balls out of them and add them to oil in a pan and fry.

Add 2-3 chopped chillies to the sauce.

Serve with lemon, coriander and chilli.
