1 cup (250 gr) red lentils, wash and drain
1 medium carrot, peeled and finely cubed
1 medium onion, roughly chopped
2 cloves of garlic
2-3 tbsp olive oil
pinch of turmeric powder (optional)
1300-1500 ml (4-5 cups) vegetable stock (or just water)
2 tsp (or to taste) salt
lemon (to serve)

Heat olive oil in a pot, sauté chopped onion, garlic, and carrot. Stir fry until fragrant and onion becomes translucent.
