1 cup chicken broth
1 tbsp brown sugar
4 tbsp oil
3 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp oyster sauce
5 tbsp banana ketchup
1 tbsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp pepper

In a large bowl combine chicken and marinate ingredients. Stir until well combined. Let it marinate for at least 30 mins. Set aside.

Remove chicken from the marinade then reserve the marinade.

In a pan or wok, heat 4 tbsp oil over medium high heat.

Cook chicken by batch. Cover with lid and fry chicken until cooked through on both sides. To know if chicken is cooked through, poke chicken with fork and juice that runs through is clear. Or use meat thermometer and poke in the thick center part of the chicken it should be 165°F.

Remove from the pan then set aside. Drain the oil from the pan.

In the same pan, stir in the marinade. Add water in the marinade if needed.

Add chicken broth and brown sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves.

Bring to boil for 5 mins.

Lower the heat to medium and continue to simmer until sauce thickens.

Serve and Enjoy! Best served with steamed rice.
