1 tsp Black pepper
2 lbs (1 kg) Beef top sirloin or tenderloin (thinly sliced)

½ large Red onions (sliced in rings)
1 tbsp Knorr beef bouillon powder
1 cup of Water
4 tbsp Cooking oil
Chopped Green onions
½ Red onions (sliced in rings)

Marinate the beef with the juice of 2 small lemons (or 4 calamansi), ¾ cup soy sauce, 1 tbsp garlic powder, 2 tsp brown sugar, and 1 tsp black pepper. Let it sit for a while.

In a pan, heat 4 tbsp of cooking oil over medium heat.

Add the marinated beef and cook until browned.

Remove the beef and set aside. In the same pan, add sliced garlic and ½ large red onion rings and sauté until fragrant.

Return the beef to the pan, add 1 cup of water and 1 tbsp of Knorr beef bouillon powder. Stir and let it simmer until the sauce thickens.

Garnish with chopped green onions and additional red onion rings before serving.
