In a large bowl, combine 500 g flour, 2 eggs, 80 g sugar, 8 g dry yeast, and 80 g softened butter.
Add 320 ml warmed milk and mix with a spoon, then switch to a hand mixer for about 10 minutes until smooth.
Cover the dough and let it rest for half an hour in a warm place.
Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and roll it into a rectangle.
Cut the dough into 12 squares and place about a teaspoon of plum jam on each square.
Fold the corners of the dough over the jam and seal to form balls.
Brush the bottom of an oven tray with melted butter and arrange the buns in it, brushing more butter on top.
Let the buns proof for approximately one hour until doubled in size.
Preheat the oven and combine an egg yolk with a tablespoon of milk to brush the tops of the buns.
Bake at 180°C for 30 minutes.
Brush the buns with melted butter while they are still hot and dust with icing sugar after they cool.
