Garlic Butter Naan

2 tsp instant yeast (6g)
4 cups all purpose flour (500g)
1 and ½ tsp salt (8g)
3 tbsp oil (45ml)

In a bowl, mix together milk, sugar and yeast. Add flour and salt. Mix until incorporated. Then add oil and knead until smooth. Round into a ball and place in an oiled bowl. Cover for 50 to 60 minutes or until doubled in size.

Meanwhile, let's make Garlic Butter. In a small bowl, mix together minced garlic, chopped parsley and melted butter. Then set aside.

After dough is proofed, punch air out and transfer to a clean and lightly floured counter. Divide into 10 equal pieces or 8 for a bigger naan. Round into a ball, cover and bench rest for at least 10 minutes.

Roll out and flatten each dough about 7 to 8 inches in diameter. Heat a tawa pan or cast iron pan on medium heat. Brush with oil and place the flattened dough. Cook for 60 to 90 seconds each side.

Keep the cooked naan inside a kitchen towel to keep warm and fresh. Brush with prepared Garlic Butter mixture.
