Place half of 1 and 1/2 lb of ground beef into a bowl, reserving the second half for the sauce.

Add 1/3 cup of bread crumbs, 3 tablespoons of cream, 2 cloves of crushed garlic, and salt and pepper to the ground beef.

Mix the ingredients together using hands, handling the meat as little as possible for tender meatballs.

Form the mixture into about 25 uniform, bite-sized meatballs, rolling them gently between hands.
