Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan.
Add chopped onion and sauté for about 30 seconds.
Add diced tomatoes and grated garlic; sauté for about 2 minutes.
Stir in 1 tablespoon of tomato paste and cook for another 3 minutes.
Add sweet peas and spices (1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika, 1/2 teaspoon ras el hanout, and salt to taste).
Mix everything and add 1 1/2 cups of hot water; cover and cook for 10-15 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, combine ground meat with spices (smoked paprika, ras el hanout, black pepper, cilantro, 1 garlic clove, and salt).
Mix well and form small meatballs (about 2-3 ounces each).
After 15 minutes, add sliced potatoes and 1/2 cup of water to the pan.
Add the meatballs to the pan and cook for an additional 15-20 minutes.
