Loaded fries, a popular American comfort food, originated from the classic french fry but have evolved into a dish topped with various ingredients. They are often served as a snack or appetizer in bars and restaurants, celebrating indulgence and creativity. Today, variations abound, with toppings ranging from pulled pork to vegetarian options, making them a versatile favorite worldwide.

Slice potatoes into thin discs about a quarter of an inch thick.
Dump potato discs into hot oil and let them float for about 3 to 5 minutes.
Drain excess oil on a paper towel.
Using a small ice cream scoop, scoop about 2 tablespoons of hamburger meat into each well of a mini muffin tin and smoosh down to form patties.
Add one slice of cheddar cheese on top of each hamburger patty.
Bake at 400 degrees for about 20 to 25 minutes until the meat is cooked through and cheese is melted.
Boil the french fries until golden and melted.
Top fries with chopped tomatoes, sliced green onions, and special sauce.
For taco loaded fries, use an apple corer to create wedges from potatoes.
Dump wedges into hot fryer oil and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until done.
Add half a packet of taco seasoning to the cooked wedges in a bowl.
Cook 6 ounces of steak in a hot cast iron skillet until browned, adding the other half of taco seasoning.
Add a heat-proof glass bowl to the skillet to create space for toppings.
Top with cheese, steak, more cheese, red onions, roasted corn, and jalapeno slices.
Broil for about 5 minutes until everything is bubbly and melted.
Add fresh chopped tomatoes and cilantro on top.
Scoop guacamole into the bowl in the center of the fries.
Drizzle warm melted queso over the top of the loaded fries.
For pizza loaded fries, spiralize potatoes into curly fries and fry until golden for 3 to 5 minutes.
Create a base of curly fries in a cast iron skillet, add cheese, and top with more curly fries.
Add more cheese, marinara sauce, fresh mozzarella slices, pepperoni, and basil on top.
Broil for 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
For fancy fries, spiralize potatoes into shoestrings and fry until golden and crispy.
Drizzle truffle oil over the shoestring fries, top with melted raclette cheese and lobster bathed in butter.
Add caviar and gold leaf on top for decoration.
Serve with a knife and fork.
