4 cups water

1 teaspoon mustard seeds
2 cloves
1 cinnamon stick
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
10 curry leaves
1/4 teaspoon asafoetida
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup fresh coriander
