Add 3 cups of flour to a bowl.
Add 2.25 tablespoons of instant yeast to the flour.
Pour in 3.75 cups of warm water and stir to combine.
Let the mixture proof for about 15 minutes until bubbly.
Add 0.5 cup of oil and 0.5 cup of honey to the mixture.
Add salt and up to 8 cups of flour, mixing until it pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
Knead the dough for 9 minutes until soft and slightly sticky.
Dust hands with flour and shape the dough into golf ball-sized pieces.
Place the shaped rolls into a brownie pan, spacing them closely together.
Cover the rolls with a cloth and let them rise until doubled in size, about 20 to 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Bake the rolls for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
Brush the tops of the rolls with 1 to 2 tablespoons of melted butter before serving.
