This dish is often prepared for family gatherings and special occasions, showcasing the rich flavors of Jamaican cuisine. The use of scotch bonnet pepper provides a characteristic heat that complements the savory beef, making it a beloved comfort food across the island and among the Jamaican diaspora.

Show the ingredients laid out on a plate including onion, garlic, scallion, thyme, ginger, tomato, pimento berries, and bell peppers.
Pour 1/2 cup of red label wine into a measuring cup, stating it can be substituted with red wine.
Add all natural seasonings and red label wine to a mini blender and blend until pureed.
Use about 3 pounds of beef round top roast and mention to ask the butcher for guidance on meat cuts.
Do not wash the meat with vinegar and water, but emphasize washing to remove bacteria.
Pour the marinade over the beef and pierce the meat with a paring knife to help the marinade soak in.
Rub the marinade over the meat to ensure it penetrates the holes.
Add powdered seasonings including paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, Maggie all purpose seasoning, sazon, coriander, and browning to the meat.
Set the seasoned meat aside to marinate overnight.
Add oil to a Dutch pot and place the marinated meat in to brown on all sides for a few minutes.
Show the browned meat and add the blended mixture to the pot, then cover it and allow it to slow cook for 50 to 60 minutes.
Check the meat after 20 minutes of cooking to ensure it remains juicy and cover it again to continue cooking.
At 30 to 35 minutes, flip the meat to ensure all sides develop a nice brown color.
After 45 minutes, add natural seasonings to the pot to enhance the gravy flavor and stir without covering the pot.
Check the meat's readiness by ensuring it reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit (73 degrees Celsius).
Add potatoes and carrots to the pot and cook for about 5 minutes.
After an hour of cooking, show the finished pot roast beef and encourage viewers to subscribe and share.
