Heat a wok and add 2 tablespoons of oil.
Add 2 tablespoons of chopped garlic and 1/2 cup of chopped onions, sauté until fragrant.
Add the asparagus pieces and season with salt to taste.
Add 1/2 teaspoon of pepper powder, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of light soy sauce, and 1 teaspoon of dark soy sauce.
If desired, add 1/2 teaspoon of oyster sauce (optional).
Sauté well on high flame.
Cover and cook for 1 minute.
Garnish with parsley, cilantro, or spring onion before serving hot with rice.
