1/2 cup yogurt
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1 teaspoon ginger paste
1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup oil

1 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
2 tablespoons fresh cream
1 teaspoon kasuri methi
1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder

Marinate 500 grams of chicken with 1/2 cup yogurt, 1 teaspoon garlic paste, 1 teaspoon ginger paste, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Let it rest for 10 minutes.

In a kadhai, heat 1/2 cup oil and add 10-12 cashews and 1 sliced large onion. Add 2 green chilies and sauté until the onion is slightly soft.

Add 1 chopped medium tomato and fry until the vegetables are soft and the color changes.

Remove the mixture and let it cool. Once cooled, blend it with a little water to make a paste.

In the same oil, add the marinated chicken and fry on high heat for 8 minutes.

Add the prepared paste, 1 teaspoon red chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder, 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder, and 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder. Fry for 2-3 minutes until the spices coat the chicken.

Cover and cook for 15 minutes.

After 15 minutes, add 2 tablespoons of fresh cream or fresh milk cream, 1 teaspoon kasuri methi, and 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder. Mix well and fry for another 2 minutes.

Cover and let it sit on low heat to allow the flavors to meld.
