It is easy to make this green lentil curry (or Dhal as it is called) and it is such a tasty dish made with great, natural ingredients and without meat 🥕🥥🧅🧄🍠🍚 Ingredients for 15 persons (a large quantity that can also be divided): 6 large onions (circa 1.8 kilos / 4 lb.) 12 cloves of garlic, minced 3 tbsp ginger, freshly grated 3 tbsp yellow curry powder 3 tbsp turmeric powder 1,5 tbsp coriander powder 1,5 tsp freshly grated black pepper 3 tsp salt 2-3 bay leaves 1/2 tsp chili flakes (can be left out) 1 kilo / 2.2 lb. dry green lentils 3 cans of good quality coconut milk (400 ml / 13.6 fl oz each) 1,5 litres / 6.3 cups of water 4-5 carrots 2 dice of vegetable stock / bouillon neutral tasting oil for frying Basmati rice and fresh cilantro/coriander for serving Thanks for watching MTB Cooking!
