1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

3 dried red chilies
3 green chilies
finely chopped ginger
fresh curry leaves
crushed peppercorns
1/2 teaspoon asafoetida
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
freshly chopped coriander leaves

Add 1 teaspoon of salt and mix everything well; maintain a 1:2 ratio of rice to curd for a gooey texture.

In a small pan, heat 2 teaspoons of oil until hot.
