Ingredients
- ●4 medium russet potatoes
- ●2 tablespoons olive oil
- ●1 teaspoon salt
- ●1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- ●1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ●1 teaspoon onion powder
- ●1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
- ●1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
- ●1/4 cup French onion dip
Instructions
- 1Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- 2Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly, then pat them dry.
- 3Slice each potato thinly, making sure not to cut all the way through (leave about 1/4 inch at the bottom).
- 4In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- 5Brush the olive oil mixture generously over the potatoes, ensuring it seeps into the cuts.
- 6Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket, standing them upright if possible.
- 7Air fry the potatoes for 25-30 minutes, or until they are crispy and golden brown.
- 8In the last 5 minutes of cooking, sprinkle the shredded Gruyère cheese over the top of the potatoes to melt.
- 9Once done, remove the potatoes from the air fryer and garnish with chopped chives and a dollop of French onion dip.

- ●1/4 cup granulated sugar
- ●1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- ●1/4 cup ice water
- ●2 cups apples, peeled and diced
- ●1/2 cup brown sugar
- ●1 tsp cinnamon
- ●1 tbsp lemon juice
- ●1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- 1In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, and granulated sugar.
- 2Add the cold, cubed butter to the flour mixture and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- 3Gradually add the ice water, mixing until the dough comes together. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- 4In another bowl, combine the diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Set aside.
- 5Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- 6On a floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/8 inch thick. Cut into squares (about 4x4 inches).
- 7Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each square.
- 8Fold the dough over to create a pocket and seal the edges with a fork.
- 9Brush the tops of the pockets with the beaten egg.
- 10Place the pockets in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
