Take a bowl and add 200 grams of all-purpose flour.
Add 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder and 2 pinches of salt to the flour and mix well.
Add 50 grams of ghee and 50 grams of water to the mixture.
Mix the ghee and water into the flour using your hands to form a stiff dough.
If the dough seems dry, add 1-2 tablespoons of water and mix again.
Knead the dough lightly for 1-2 minutes until it comes together.
Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
Roll out the dough into a thick flatbread, about the thickness of naan.
Cut the rolled dough into square shapes using a knife.
Heat oil in a deep pan over low flame until hot.
Fry the pieces in the hot oil for about 5-6 minutes until they turn light golden brown.
Remove the fried pieces and place them on a plate.
In another pan, add 200 grams of sugar and 100 grams of water to make syrup.
Cook the syrup on low to medium flame until it reaches a one-thread consistency.
Turn off the flame and add the fried pieces to the syrup, mixing gently to coat them without breaking.
Let them cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
