Add meat and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
Pour in broth and bring to a simmer.
Add yam cubes, carrots, green beans, and bay leaves; stir to combine.
Season with salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to taste.
Cover and simmer until yam is tender, about 15-20 minutes.
Remove bay leaves and adjust seasoning if necessary.
Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
