In a bowl, combine together milk, sweetened condensed milk, egg, sugar and yeast. Mix well.

Add flour and salt. Mix until you form a dough.

Add softened butter. Mix until butter is fully absorbed.

Transfer to a lightly floured counter. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic.

Dough is ready for proofing when its not tearing when stretched.

Smooth dough into a ball and place in an oiled bowl.

Cover and rest for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Punch the air out. Transfer dough to lightly floured counter.

Divide the dough into two equal parts.

Roll out each dough and flatten using a rolling pin forming a long rectangular shape.

Roll tightly into a log, pinching the edges to seal. Cutting into seven parts.

Place in a 7x4 inches loaf pan, greased and lined with parchment paper.

Cover for 45 minutes in a warm place and draft free place.

Preheat oven (about 15 minutes) at 180ºC/350ºF.

When dough is fully proofed, brush with egg wash, beat 1 egg and 2 tbsp milk.

Bake for 20 to 22 minutes or until lightly golden in preheated oven.

Let it cool down while preparing the glaze.
