1

Preheat a stainless steel pan over medium-high heat until it starts smoking.

2

Add 2 lbs of lean ground beef to the pan and press it down into a large patty.

3

Cook the beef for about 4 minutes on each side until browned.

4

Break up the beef until crumbly and continue cooking until there is no pink left.

5

Reduce heat to medium-low and add 2 packets of Ciiete mild taco seasoning and 2/3 cup of water to the beef.

6

Mix the seasoning and water into the beef and let it simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until thickened.

7

Add a little extra salt to taste, if desired.

8

Put tortilla chips on a disposable aluminum pan.

9

Bake the chips in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for 3 to 5 minutes until they start to turn a little browner.

10

Top the chips with a mix of grated medium cheddar, mozzarella, and KBY Jack cheese (1 lb each).

11

Spoon the taco meat over the cheese on the chips.

12

Sprinkle a last layer of cheese over the top of the nachos.

13

Put the nachos back in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 5 to 10 minutes until the cheese has melted.
