Simple Chicken Biryani

1 tomato
50 gram turmeric
1/2 cup hot water
1 tbsp ginger
1 tbsp garlic
1 cup yogurt
50 gram kaju nut
50 gram raisin
1 packet bombay biryani masala
4 eggs

Marinate chicken with 1 tbsp ginger, 1 tbsp garlic paste, and half of the bombay biryani masala for half an hour.

Cook marinated chicken in 1 cup water until half boiled, then drain the water.

Heat oil in a pan and fry sliced onions until golden brown, then remove and set aside.

Fry kaju nuts in the same oil and set aside.

Fry raisins in the same oil and set aside.

Fry chopped potatoes in the same oil and set aside.

Fry the boiled chicken in the same oil and set aside.

Wash and soak the rice in water for half an hour, then cook until 1/4 done and set aside.

Prepare the masala by frying the remaining onions in 2 tbsp oil until light brown.

Add garlic paste and ginger paste to the onions and cook for 2 minutes.

Add the remaining bombay biryani masala and cook for 2 minutes.

Add tamarind and cook for 2 minutes.

Add the water used to cook the chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes.

Mix in yogurt and cook.

Add the fried chicken and potatoes, cover, and cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes.

Layer the cooked rice over the chicken masala, cover, and cook for an additional 10 minutes on low heat.

Garnish with fried onions, kaju nuts, raisins, and cut boiled eggs.
