No Knead Bread

No Knead Bread is a popular method for making artisan-style bread with minimal effort. It gained popularity through Jim Lahey's recipe, which emphasizes long fermentation and simplicity. This technique allows home bakers to achieve a crusty exterior and chewy interior without the need for kneading, making it accessible for all skill levels.

In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, and yeast together.
Add water and stir until a shaggy dough forms.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rest for 12-18 hours at room temperature.
After resting, turn the dough out onto a floured surface and shape it into a ball.
Let the dough rise for about 1-2 hours, covered with a towel.
Preheat the oven with a Dutch oven inside to 450°F (232°C).
Carefully place the dough into the hot Dutch oven.
Cover and bake for 30 minutes, then remove the lid and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
