Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat until melted.
Add shallots and garlic, sauté until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
Stir in mushrooms and cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes.
Add Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce, stirring to combine.
Pour in brandy and simmer until reduced by half, about 2-3 minutes.
Stir in heavy cream and cook until sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes.
Season sauce with salt and black pepper to taste.
Remove sauce from heat and stir in chopped parsley.
Season steak with salt and black pepper on both sides.
Heat a separate skillet over high heat until very hot.
Add steak and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
Remove steak from skillet and let rest for a few minutes.
Slice steak and serve topped with Sauce Diane.
